diwakar Diwakar serves at Krishna Lunch. He especially enjoys the morning meditation program at Krishna House and the association of such dynamic, enthusiastic and loving residents there. He has a Master's degree in mechanical engineering. In his free time, he likes singing for Krishna, painting, and writing poetry.
Gaura_Lila_Das Gaura L. coordinates the Krishna Lunch kitchen cleanup, or in his words, "cleaning the transcendental pots of the Lord." He enjoys talking philosophy with his coworkers, reading in his spare time and eating pizza.
Gauranga_Prasad Gauranga Prasad is the CEO of Sanga Foods and a great chef- “I really love cooking vegetarian food and seeing how much people enjoy it. I also like sharing what I have learned with other people and watching how they take off from what I have shown them.” He has been playing music since he was eight and loves singing and drumming for Krishna.
Jon Jon is a regular Krishna Lunch server and enjoys socializing with the UF students.  A former marine, Jon now lives at the Krishna House and finds it refreshing to be able to spend time with a diverse group of Hare Krishna devotees, including those in the hardcore and punk rock scene.
Lacie Lacie is a senior Spanish major at UF. She is often seen at the table in the front of the Krishna Lunch, ready to give you a card or answer any questions you might have. She especially likes pujari services because of all the knowledge and purification she gains from it. She enjoys traveling and has been to 8 different countries.
Menaka Menaka likes serving others and interacting with a joyful spirit. She feels that "living at the Krishna House is a one-of-a-kind opportunity where one can meet people of one’s age to grow spiritually with, to journey into devotional service, and to build a toolbox for further spiritual focus and life." She would like to pursue holistic health and put her passions to use for Krishna.
Michael_Collins Michael C., also known as the Tea Man, is always ready to serve you a refreshing beverage. He enjoys making sure everybody stays happy and hydrated! He is also a visual artist and musician. He has traveled the world with his music and has inspired many a dance party. He can also wiggle his ears.
Michael_Worbley Michael W. is pursuing a career in nursing. He is also a regular server on the Krishna Lunch line and part of the cleanup crew afterward. He appreciates how the service cleans his heart. A spray pain artist since 14, he loves creating art with environmentally friendly materials.
Michele Michele studies anthropology at UF. She moved into the Krishna House to focus on her spiritual growth. She likes being surrounded by sincere, passionate people at  Krishna House every day. In her words, “The devotees enhance my life to the utmost!” She can also solve a rubik’s cube while on a pogo stick. No big deal!
Padma Padma is a friendly Krishna Lunch server. When she sees how happy and grateful the students are for Krishna Lunch, she feels grateful for her service. She has a BA in fine arts and an MS in art therapy. She is currently directing the painting of a beautiful mural at Krishna House.
Prateek Prateek is a lead engineer at Texas Instruments, currently on leave of absence to study at UF and spend time in a spiritual environment. He volunteers his weekend mornings to clean Krishna House and is very thorough in his service. He says, “It gives me great enjoyment to sweep and mop the main temple hall. I could never imagine being allowed to do it in a traditional Indian temple.” He likes having the association of so many Krishna House residents and feels like he is living with his family. The food is delicious!
rukmini Rukmini Priya, a second generation Krishna devotee, is pursuing a degree in graphic design in the Fine Arts program at UF. She moved into the Krishna House to experience a stronger balance between her schoolwork and spiritual life. She feels that this environment will help her grow in many ways. She has traveled extensively throughout the US and Mexico on the Krishna Youth bus tours and enjoys kirtan (devotional singing) and photography. Her life goal is to dovetail her art in Krishna's service.
Rupachandra Rupachandra conducts research on Manipur Vaisnavism and organizes events on science and spirituality. He likes living at the Krishna House because it gives him the opportunity to study Vaisnava culture in detail and share it with others. He likes to have engaging conversations with people about their outlook on life, enjoys reading and watching a game of soccer now and then.
Sashi Sashi is a full-time software engineer. She cooks and bakes for Krishna House residents on the weekends. Her cake is very popular! In her words, “I love my service because my love towards cooking increases every time I cook in the Krishna House kitchen.” She likes living at Krishna House because it feels like a family to her and she finds everyone very positive and inspiring. “Krishna House is the best place on the earth!”
Sruti_Sagar Sruti Sagar is president of the Bhakti Yoga Club at UF. He organizes events on campus, yoga sessions and interactive chanting sessions (kirtan). He enjoys his service because it gives him an opportunity to bring speakers to UF students, increasing their spiritual vitality and challenging them to grow. The opportunity to share the joys of spiritual life with the UF community is very fulfilling. In addition to working toward his degree in Political Science, he is a talented poet and has an interest in theater.
Syamala_Kishori_ Syamala Kishori is the coordinator for Late Lunch (12-4pm) at the Krishna House. She enjoys meeting so many friendly and interesting people on a daily basis. She is especially grateful for all of the people that live and serve at Krishna House and finds them a great source of inspiration. She has a BA in psychology and enjoys singing and playing the mridanga (clay drum).
vaibhavadeepti Vaisnava & Dwijamani are responsible for making one of Krishna Lunch’s most famous items, the salad dressing and have been making it for three years! They are happy to have a service that makes so many people happy on a daily basis. For them, living at the Krishna House is like living with their family.

Krishna House: 12pm - 3pm

Lunch is served Monday thru Friday when UF is in session.
